The Heart of Dogland by Sam Hunter

Devised and presented in 2012 by the Hungry River Theater Company in Ridgecrest, CA

“This is the land of the great big dogs. You don’t love a man here, you eat him.” Arthur Miller’s All My Sons weaves between Candide, The Giving Tree, poems from Walt Whitman and Percy Bysshe Shelley, and original songs and movement to examine the nature of compassion, and how we can be kind people in an unkind world.
