Hamlet by William Shakespeare

Presented in 2012 by the Hungry River Theater Company in Ridgecrest, CA

Arranging Shakespeare’s text and interspersing the poems of E.E. Cummings and stories from their own lives, the Hungry River Theater Company presented a Hamlet that appeared to rise out of the very desert that surrounded it. The piece urged the audience to look at the layers of theater between them and their world and ask themselves how to be good, moral people in a cruel and hard world.
