§ 01
Synopsis
A team of public servants has come to an escape room for team-building exercises, but when they find that the room they have to escape is our current socio-political situation, they begin to daydream about 16-hour work weeks, universal basic incomes, and technologies that would make the current status quo obsolete. The stage is modeled on a Monopoly board, with a golden throne for the winner. Through a series of games, social and political questions are examined, and the performers are challenged to invent new games of their own in order to find a way out.
Presented as part of the Aufstand der Utopien (Rise of the Utopias) festival from Unent_eckte Narrative.

"The four perfectly cast, dynamic young actors are quick-witted and switched-on … they ponder about religion and culture, debate hotly, and go to battle in slow-motion. Until the 'Tabula Rasa' makes clear, completely unpretentiously, that in the end the only way out is to work together. Theatre can hardly be more valuable."
Sebastian Steger, Chemnitzer Freie Presse
"A consistently brisk performance … which works surprisingly well thanks to the lively, likeable and often clever interventions of the playing quartet — all of them really athletically dynamic."
